His stupid mother, sending him away like that! She says it'll "straighten him out" WHICH IS THE WORST PUN EVER.
But it's true. Jake is leaving for the Rabun-gap. At least it's an artsy school, so he should be pretty happy there. There's the Georgia Thespianism Conference there every year, I'd LOVE that.

That guy with black and white face paint is Jake's roommate, Sam. YEAH, they already set him up with a room and everything! It's just like, aaaauugggh. I can't believe he's leaving! All the time he's spent in DeLand, and now he's just going to go! He has to leave after the first nine weeks is over, and that's like, this month or something. I suppose he'll come back for summer holiday and for Christmas, but it won't be the same...
